Cette saison, la Ligue Féminine compte dans ses rangs trois championnes WNBA 2018 avec le Seattle Storm: Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis (Charleville), Alysha Clark (Lyon) et Samantha Whitcomb (Lattes-Montpellier), ici entourées des anciennes internationales Isabelle Fijalkowski et Yannick Souvré. Les trois Américaines ont été honorées à l’occasion de l’Open à Paris et une vidéo de leur triomphe a été diffusée sur écran géant ce qui a fait frissonner Alysha Clark.
